【News】Steve Reich ＆ Paul Frick. Messages on the “FACTORY”.

We were able to get permission to show you some of the comments made by the American Composer Steve Reich and the German musician Paul Frick about our first album “FACTORY”.

These are some of the comments from the conversation that Masashi Nukata, organizer of TOKYO SHIOKOUJI, had with them.

 

平素よりお世話になっております。

この度、アメリカの作曲家、スティーヴ・ライヒ、そしてドイツの音楽家、ポール・フリックより、東京塩麹”FACTORY”へのメッセージを頂きました。

東京塩麹 主宰、額田大志とのメールの中で言及された内容から、本人の許可を得て、一部を抜粋して公開致します。

Congratulations on FACTORY. Very strong energy. Sharp attacks and sharp releases.

Couldn’t tell if all was played or some programmed. Then I went to your site and saw pic of all the band around piano. Great live band with very strong drumming.

End of “Tokio” from piano entrance with voice caught my ear.

Keep up the energy and hope you make it to New York.

“FACTORY”リリースおめでとう。とても力強いエネルギーを感じました。音のアタック、そしてリリース、どちらも鋭い。

最初は全て人力で演奏されているのか、プログラムされているのか判別がつきませんでしたが、検索してウェブサイトを見てみると、バンドメンバーがピアノの周りに集まっている写真を見つけました。素晴らしい生バンド、そして大変力強いドラムですね。

“Tokio”の後半で、ピアノとヴォーカルが入るところは印象的でした。　　

いつまでも、音楽へのエネルギーを持ち続けていてください。
そしていつか、ニューヨークに進出することを期待しています。
